Robbie Williams, Milton Keynes Bowl Sept18th 2006

We arrived about 2pm, once we'd found the place, how many roundabouts!!! Warm summers day, dry grass, cool beer what more can I say. The first support band was Orson who were very good and did the job of getting the crowd going. Then came Basement Jaxx and things really got movin' they were fantastic a show in itself !!

Then as night fell the main man came out after a breath taking opening sequence which equalled the Close Encounters of the Third Kind  film where the mother ship comes to communicate with us earthlings. Truly amazing, special effects with  fantastic lighting and bursts of fire it blew us away and the show from that point on delivered a spectacular and  professional performance with a duet or two from the Robbster and his best mate Jonathan Wilkes and a surprise appearance from Ant & Dec of all people!! Robbie was on top form and was modest and emotional towards the crowd and seemed to appreciate the fans to the point of tears in his eyes. Real tears or not it moved us and the crowd, what a performance what a show.

Jemma & mi Dad Chesterfield. (We'll send you the rest of the photo's and video of the opening soon) Jemma.

Video of the opening, awesome!
