     DIGITAL CORRUPTIONS PRESENTS

FREE FEST '07

11th August 07, Queens Park, Chesterfield.

A day of  Live Music & Indie Films.

This event was a first for Digital Corruptions in Queens Park, Chesterfield and it went down a storm. We've seen far to many of those this summer but this one was not damp and soggy it was warm and welcome. With around 26 performers and 12 of those delivering a selection of music for 12 hours from the parks band stand, the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. The bands interacted with the crowds and people were keen to join in and dance there feet off or just lay in the sunshine and watch the performance throughout the day and night.

The marquee was the other venue for the more cultural performers delivering poetry, documentaries, short films and improv comedy. Hot &cold food was available and thankfully 2 licenced bars to quench everyone's thirst from the hot sunshine, yep, that's 'hot sunshine'... it couldn't have been a better day weather wise, for a great days entertainment. This event could turn into something really big for Chesterfield, so lets hope its on again next year, QTBi will be there thats for sure!
