Red hot Chilli Peppers, Don Valley Stadium 6th July 2006
Not to many photo's here at the moment but we've got some video's coming soon. It was a hot summers day in July and after a steady pub crawl around Sheff we hit the stadium, lots o beer tents and an amazing plastic bottle throwin' contest in the crowd to which I got one on the head! It was a constant shower of bottles for over an hour or more, some containing water, some containing beer and one looked like errr.. lime and lemon!!?? Thank goodness the top was on that one!!
As the sun began to set the Chillis came on and rocked the crowd for a good 2 hours, it was awesome!! It was a birthday present I won't forget. Cheers Dan, you the man!
If you ever get chance to see this band, its a must!!!!
This was when the support band was on which was New York's Funk Punk followed by Ben Harper.
